my one-night stay at the cottage was fantastic. room 3 was spacious with a lovely four-poster bed and plenty of teas and coffees. the mini fridge was a great addition for convenience. i loved that it’s an adult-only guest house, making it peaceful. also, having a contact-free check-in process was super easy.

The cleanliness left something to be desired, particularly in the bathroom, which had a musty odor. Breakfast was also disappointing as the food arrived lukewarm, detracting from an otherwise pleasant morning experience.

The Hungry Goat Café whipped up the most scrumptious brunches I’ve ever had, and I can’t stop raving about the cozy charm of The Queens Pub just a hop away, perfect for a cheeky pint after exploring. Plus, my room was a delightful hideaway with fab bathroom amenities!

Now, I did have a bit of a chatterbox situation with noisy neighbors. it felt like their gossip was pouring through the walls! And with a tight squeeze in the room, I had to juggle my suitcase like it was a game of Tetris. Still, it didn’t put a dampener on my stay!
